Our
rotation on Elijah and Elisha was exciting. We learned what a prophet is, how
Elisha received Elijah’s special cloak by seeing him go up to heaven. Also,
we learned about the woman and her son who gave the last of their food to
Elijah, and in return, had enough food to make it through the drought. Elijah
also saved the woman’s son after he died. We watched movies on the miracles
that both prophets had done in the Lord’s name. We made bread from heaven,
stepping stones, and a wheel of Prophets. We started practicing for our Christmas
program. The Youth Christmas Party is Sunday, December 12, from 6:00 to 8:00
pm, in the Fellowship Hall, and we ask that you dress festively. The Sunday
School-led worship will be on Sunday, December 14. There won’t be any Sunday
School for the following two weeks. Thank you to everyone who is helping us
out with the program. We would also like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year! December Birthdays Christina
